I'm excited to announce I have my first solo exhibition at the Forest Discovery Centre in Dwellingup.
Set in the perfect location of the Forest Discovery Centre 'Botanic Fanatic' is a series of Australian flora that celebrates our unique environment and colourful wildflowers.
The show runs from the 10th of Jan till the 3rd of Feb. There are plenty of activities for the family and lots of beautiful bushland to explore.
This new body of work is inspired by a lifelong fascination with nature and the exquisite beauty it possesses. My pieces have a vibrancy and texture which bring a new zest to the classic subject of native flora. With a conscious use of colour and many layers of glazing broken up by heavy impasto, these flowers jump off the canvas.
